My name is Elena, I'm 28 years and I began drawing and liking it when I was just a child, like almost all the illustrators living on this world. This was enpowered thanks to the environment I was living in, a house full of art books of the best painters of the world, such as Van Gogh, Monet and Cezanne. I liked going through the pages and getting lost in those beautiful and vibrant colors. When I grew up, I liked copying Disney's animated films drawings and things like that. But a few years ago I started to wish to create my own world so, starting from my favorite animal, the bear, I took paper and pencil and I started my little universe that today is called "La douceur du miel": to create this name I took inspiration from one of the favorite food of bears, honey ("miel" in French). My brand name means, in fact, "The sweetness of the honey" in French.
I realize illustrations using the powerful digital drawing software that is Photoshop: then I make my drawings be printed by my trustworthy typography that prints them as postcards, prints and greeting cards.
I also create illustrated journals using authentic Moleskine and painting its cover with acrylics, colored pencils and permanent ink pens. I named this collection "Mieleskine" that is the combination of the two words Miel (part of my brand name) and Moleskine.
